1. Product Authenticity and Quality

We take pride in offering genuine vintage pieces. Each item is lovingly restored to maintain its unique charm. Please check the details of the item on our website before making a purchase. Vintage items have a unique history and may exhibit signs of wear that reflect their journey through time.

In addition to furniture, we also offer a curated selection of vintage art and decorations. Our collection includes unique artworks, ceramics, and rugs, all carefully handpicked for their beauty and character.

We provide numerous images online to show the condition of each item. If you need additional images to verify the condition, we are happy to provide them upon simple request. These can be photos or even live videos.

2. Ordering and Payment

Placing an order with us is simple and secure.

Once you place an order, we’ll send you an offer with our payment details. Please complete the payment within 7 days. If we don’t receive your payment in this time, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. After we receive your payment, we will send you an invoice and prepare everything for shipping or pickup.

We only accept payments via bank transfer for all remote orders. In our warehouse, you can also pay with card (Bancontact, VISA, Mastercard), cash (up to a maximum of 3000 euro), ecocheques and the Meteor Gallery gift cards.

All prices are listed in EUR, and all payments must be made in EUR. Please note that costs related to packing, shipping, insurance, handling, and conversion fees are not included in the item’s selling price. Any additional import VAT for non-EU countries are to be paid by the buyer and can’t be of any effect on the selling price.

As a vintage dealer, we operate under the VAT margin scheme. This scheme is applicable to second-hand goods, works of art, antiques, and collectibles. Please note that VAT is not itemized separately on our invoices.

3. Shipping and Delivery

We ship worldwide using trusted transport partners. Shipping costs depend on the item’s size, weight, value, and material. Each item is carefully packed using protective materials and, if needed, custom-made wooden crates. For overseas shipping, we always recommend crating.

• Domestic Deliveries: In some areas we offer personal one man delivery at starting rates of 60 euro (Antwerp city and its districts). For other domestic destinations we work with Brenger at their rates, plus packing and handling fee.
• International Deliveries: We partner with trusted couriers like Magic Movers and Convelio. Once the item leaves our warehouse, the shipper bares full responsibility for any damage that may occur during handling or transport . We can offer shipping with full insurance.

We kindly ask that you inspect your items upon delivery. Please check if your order is complete and unharmed.  If you notice any issues, let us know right away so we can find a solution for you and any other party involved.

4. Insurance

In the odd case of damage due to transport, please send us photos an keep all packaging materials until the claim is resolved. We will assist you as quickly as possible to address the issue.

5. Pick up at Meteor Gallery

You can also pick up your order at our warehouse by appointment. We kindly ask that you collect the item within 3 weeks after payment. After 1 month, we will charge a storage fee: 50 euro per item under 1m³. Larger items will incur a fee of 100 euro per item per month. This is the only way to be able to present you new exciting items on a weekly basis at reasonable rates.

6. Returns

In the unlikely case you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 7 days after delivery. Please let us know the reason for the return before sending the item back. Note that shipping costs are non-refundable, and all return shipping costs are at the buyer’s expense.

7. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. We use your personal information only to process orders and improve our services. We never share your information with third parties unless necessary for our administration and legal obligations. For more information check our Privacy Statement.
