Writing desk by Illum Wikkelso
This exceptional writing desk was designed by Illum Wikkelso for P. Schultz & Co in Denmark in the 1970s. This big teak desk has two drawers on the front and plenty of workspace. You could actually use it on both sides as it is this spacious. The top has a beautiful grain and an original gathered over the years. The top has dipped a tiny bit in the middle, but it’s not too disturbing nor something you feel when working on the desk. The brushed metal frame supporting the structure is very solid and in very good condition. In total 3 cracks in both drawer handles have been glued and restored, hence the small colour differences. The orginal drawers locks are there and open but the keys are missing. Further this rare desk is in good condition.
