Rustic dining chairs, Italy, 1960’s
Set of 4 dining chairs designed and produced in Italy during the 1960’s. Maybe this chair was a source of inspiration for Vico Magistretti when he designed his famous Carimate chairs in the 1970’s? The style of both chairs is very reminiscent anyway. The solid wooden frames have a nice patina that gives this set a strong character. Combined with the rush seat in checkered pattern this set would look good in an old farmhouse as well as a more modern or eclectic interior. In good condition with some using marks, as shown in the pictures.
