Rare side chair by Artifort (Sold)

This very rare art deco collector’s item is an early model for a small side chair from the 1920’s or 1930’s. The stained oak shows a beautiful patina, the  brown velours fabric and cords are still original. The black fabric underneath has loosened a bit. There’s a label by Artifort, but they couldn’t find any information on this early model. It’s plausable this chair  was built as a prototype by Artifort but never taken into production. There’s also another label by furniture company ‘Stultlens & Zoonen’ in Eindhoven, probably the store where this chair was sold. Overall still in good condition.
