Lounge chair ‘H55’ by Bjorn Hulten (Sold)

Terrace lounge chair ‘H55’ designed in 1954 by Bjorn Hulten and produced by Berga Form in Sweden. Its refined elegance still looks quite modern. Thanks to its adjustability, relaxed fabric seat and neck pillow,  the H55 provides good seating comfort while enjoying the sunshine.The frame of the easy chair is made of beautiful, teakwood in this earlier and slightly bigger version. The newer versions got a metal rod holding the backrest in stead of a teak one.The H55 can be folded easily for inside storage. The natural canvas and leather straps are not waterproof so the chair has to be stored inside. A few small stains on the canvas and the leather looks a bit crackled, further in very good, original condition. We have a similar, newer version of the H55 available as well.
