Floor lamp ‘Panthella’ by Verner Panton
This classic ‘Panthella’ floor lamp was designed Verner Panton and produced by Louis Poulsen in Denmark since the 1960’s. The floor lamp diffuses a soft and comforting glow through a white opal acrylic shade. The shade hides a a single light socket for E27 fitted lamps. The white injection-molded ABS stem has some light scratches but further in good condition. With a weight of little under 6kg, the lamp has a solid and steady construction but can also be moved around the room easily if needed. With the Panthella floor lamp Verner Panton intented to direct the light downward in a soft reflection. Its construction with the acrylic shade ensures that the light is diffused throughout the room. The power switch on the base needs to be pushed twice to put it on and twice to put it off.
