Ceramic object (Sold)

Black ceramic object, the maker or pottery studio are unknown to us. This brutalist piece was found during on of our tours in Holland. The fact that it’s hollow and open on both ends and that it also has a round 2 cm hole on the side, makes us think it used to be as a lamp base. There’s no wiring, shade nor lamp holder though. You could opt to re-wire it but we just use it as a remarkable glazed object next to a salon or lounge chair. One thing is for sure: it’s heavy, it’s black and perfectly imperfect. In good condition as shown in the pictures.
