Antroposhopical wall lamp by Rudolf Dörfler
Rare wall lamp, designed by Rudolf Dörfler and produced in Dornach, Switzerland in the 1970s. This model can be used on the wall or as a ceiling lamp. The sculptural base in ash wood ends in an acrylic lampshade in the shape of a turtle shield (or a bee hotel), that gives an atmospheric glow. The design language used on this lamp reflects the anthroposophical ideas of which Rudolf Steiner was the founding father. Characteristic is that these designs were derived from the shapes in nature. This lamp is in its original, very good, working condition. Can be wired with a wire through the wall. The shade can also be opened from the front side, with a few screws on the frame.
